Our chickens arrived the day after we got back into town from the cruise. They were super cute and they still are but they are growing crazy fast and I am sure the cuteness will be gone quickly as they are a week old now and have feathers, or at least a few feathers and the fluffy sweet things are a thing of the past already.
Now that being said there is a chicken that I am very fond of. It's name is Bobby. I am not sure yet if it is a girl or a boy as it is the exotic one they threw in the batch for fun. Ty named it Bobby that way it fits no matter what and I think it rather fits they little thing. It is the smallest of the chickens and is very cute : )
The kids love the chickens and check on them regularly and have tons of questions about them. Joe was making good progress on the chicken coop till he injured his neck on Sunday so hopefully they will still be in there in plenty of time and out of the garage.
Here are some pictures

I love that youe have chickens! Could I please buy some eggs from you guys when they start making them? :)
of course!! hopefully we will have plenty of eggs for you to have as many as you want in the new year. they should be 6 months by then and usually that is when they will start producing.
